Mascot

I'm going to be designing a character for my blog and will be posting it within the next few days I would really appreciate it if you would take a look and give me some feedback on whether you like it or not and or maybe what I could change to make it better.

All About Me

Likes: Reading, writing, art, music, mythology, camping, going to restaurants, writing book reviews (Good reads website), being right, Disney  psychology, biology, chemistry, anime, animals, movies, geography, learning about foreign cultures and beliefs, discovery channel, drama, and the colors purple, black, silver, gold, and green.

Dislikes: Listening to other people read aloud (It truly is a form of punishment), people of low morals and values, giving up, the color pink, not getting my way, cleaning, the hunger games, Maggie Stiefvater's book trilogy shiver, restrictions, and math (Nobody likes math)

Appearance: Pink hair, orange eyes, devil horns, 6'2, 150 lbs. fangs, and a little devil tail. I'm most often seen wearing a short black dress with a black choker necklace and black gloves. (If you believe this then you're the reason I have no faith in the intelligence of our generation.)

Hobbies: Reading, writing, camping, reviewing books, drawing, painting, sculpting, listening to music, hanging out with my friends.

A few words to describe me: Artistic,  creative, dependable, impulsive, intelligent, confident, determined, energetic, exuberant, aggressive  brave, tough, bad tempered, devious, quick, mature, serious, loud, and amazing. (Other people gave me these words, I didn't make this up... except for the last one, but it's true so I don't see a problem with it.)

Things you should know about me:

  • I'm not conceited, because conceition is a fault and I don't have any.
  • I have an over abundance of confidence interspersed with flashes of insecurity
  • I'm obnoxious but not overbearingly so.
  • Yes there is a hyphen in anal-retentive, it all depends on how you use the word in a sentence.
  • I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minuet of it.
  • I love my six pack so much I hide it under a layer of fat...or two...or ten.

Dark Visions Summery pt 1

The novel Dark Visions is based on a 17 year old girl named Kaitlyn Fairchild, the local witch in her small

hometown. Her drawings all come true but she as no way to control or harness her powers, until she is

approached by a woman asking her to join an institution for psychics. Weary of leaving her dad Kaitlyn is

only swayed by the prospect of one thing, a free scholarship to the collage of her choice. At the notorious

Zetes Institute Kaitlyn meets different psychics but out of the four two catch her eye. Gabriel, the dark one

with a mysterious past, rumor is that he killed a girl and now he's being allowed on probation to stay at he

Institute. Rob, a perfect boy with one flaw, he doesn't know how to love a girl, after an accident that should

have ended his life he came away with amazing healing powers, but now he is unable to see a girl in any way

other than as a friend. The five psychic teens are struggling to adapt to the Institutes strange ways and each

other, but is the Zetes Institute all that it seems? Tensions are building between Rob and Gabriel who happen

to share a past. Kat is caught between to mesmerizing boys, complete opposites but both catch her attention

and don't seem to let go. As new clues start to pile up, they all seem to lead to the same conclusion, can Mr.

Zetes be trusted? Through the betrayals and the lies will these five teens find their way? Will it be one of their

own that ends up being the biggest enemy? But most importantly who will be the one to steal Kat's heart? An

angel or a demon? The story promises to be interesting but I have my reservations, I do not expect much of

this novel based solely on the plot. This plot line is very common so I really want to see if this book can raise

the bar and manage to stand out among other novels without becoming redundant.
